You can initiate yourself in water skiing and wake boarding with us or just enjoy these sports if you are already an expert.
You'll find us in the beach of Riells in L'Escala, northern Costa Brava of Spain.
At Funtastic we have new Mastercraft 209 to tow waterskiers and wake boarders. This is one of the most prestigious tow boats in the world.
Its design and solid construction have been specially conceived for the purpose. Its flat hull with three fins incorporate a powerful V8 engine developing 315 hp.
This ensures a reliable and constant pull for any water skiing modality.
The boat is equipped with an initiation-bar, which originally was made for barefooted skiing, but today is used in almost every skiing school for the beginners sessions.
Skiing with that bar becomes much easier than with the rope and allows a better communication between the pupil and the instructor, who can easily see and correct any possible errors.
Once the basic technical aspects are understood with the help of the bar, we can follow with real waterskiing on the rope.
Wake boarders can also take profit of the initiation bar and later we can rig up a skylone for optimal wake boarding conditions with the rope.
Water skiing and wake boarding are very pleasant sports at the beginning, as learning happens very quickly. Afterwards, if you wish to reach a high level it will require dedication and effort.
Beginner or expert, you'll feel these are a very vivifying sports, ideal to start the day with.
Its practice on the sea may be conditioned by the waves, therefore we use to propose them early in the morning when the sea is calm, before the thermical wind rises up.
You can take a single lesson (baptism session) just to try or a full course. If you don't need tuition, we also offer single and multiple goes for you to water-ski and wake board whenever you wish.
As said with sailing, we guarantee that you'll be skiing from the first session on.
