Catamarans are the genuine Formula I of the sea, sailing and surfing the waves without any noise other than the wind and the water is an unforgettable experience.

Our center in l'Escala offers you a flotilla of Hobie Cat catamarans of 13 and 15 feet. You can go sail with one of our instructors or rent a catamaran on your own if you already have experience.
For those wishing to learn or improve, Funtastic offers catamaran sailing courses of different levels and duration. Those courses are done on the Hobie Cat '15, specially built for school use with an extra volume on their hulls which allows to carry up to four adults.

The lessons take place in sessions of two hours. These are the different formulas to learn or improve sailing a catamaran:

• Guided excursion (no tuition): 2 hours.
• Introduction: 2 sessions (2 x2h.
• Weekly course: 5 sessions. (5 x2h)
• Mixed Sailing & Catamaran course : 5 sessions. (3 x2h + 2 x2h)

Funtastic proposes the mixed sailing & Catamaran course to those wishing to learn how to sail a catamaran which have no previous experience in sailing. Such course takes place in five sessions of two hours, the first three being on a mono-hull dinghy and the last two on catamarans.
